Outwest-Outback Quilters

October 17, 2008

We are a group of quilters that get together every few months and have lunch to decide what kind of block exchange we are going to do next.  This time we chose to do a Row Robin.  This is where each  quilter chooses their own fabric and block they want to make.  The fabric in a container is passed around each month and the quilter gets the container and makes the same block (ex. windmill) for that person from their fabric. We have 10 in our group so after 10 months or so we will get our own container back with all 10 block rows. The rows are not sewn along the way so then we can put them together in our own creative manner.
